This description could apply to lots of people these days: A lawyer with a passion for reading and writing fiction, who enjoys political debates and philosophy, who gives away ten percent in goodwill, and who blogs here because it’s apparently easier to blog 100,000 words than to write a novel manuscript of the same.
Hi,
Just wanted to tell you I came across your blog googling for something specific (word counts for various novels), but I stayed for a while. I really enjoyed reading your views on writing and literature! Well-written and interesting. I hope you’re going to pick up writing here again sometime.
Best regards,
J.C.
Hi J.C.:
I read through your blog. Your writing is lucid and fantastic. Wishing you all the best on your works. I’m still slowly (very slowly) working on my novel manuscript, but these days I’ve moved on to other endeavors. See website link affixed with this reply. Probably nothing you’d be interested in. =) I’m glad you stopped by. I’ve bookmarked your site.
Hi … Again, because incidentally I joined WordPress just yesterday and am going to be blogging here from now on.
Thank you so much for the kind words on my writing! I really appreciate it. 🙂
I actually am interested. Wow. You’re really talented! I do like your designs; especially the Ambitionist.
Hi friend, Great work on your blog, loved the way you have worked on the articles… 🙂
Your reasoning for this blog is open, honest and quite funny. I came across your blog after researching word counts of novels. I decided to cut my first novel (to be published in the next few months) in half due to its excessive word count. However, it leaves the first part in the saga to be around 70 thousand only. Reading that there are indeed note-worthy novels that are around that length is encouraging. Perhaps, since you enjoy fiction, I should advise you when it is published. Thanks!
Definitely advise me when it is finished! I will read it.
Surfing the waves of the web I am pleasantly stranded in this beautiful blog.

So true – I’d like to know the word count on my blog… certainly worth a book in terms of length!
Kudos on your well-written blog. That it hasn’t been updated in quite a while most likely indicates that you’ve moved on to bigger, better and more liberating things, perhaps finally publishing your first novel. I left the glamorous and soul-killing world of finance a couple years back and have found my passion in pretending to be a writer. I see something of a kindred spirit in your story, though you must be much further along in your writing path. Please advise if your novel is available since I’m very interested in reading it. Also, I’d like to hear your thoughts on Lee’s latest book, The Surrendered.
I read your post on word counts. Thank you. I’m asian, and my favorite color’s blue, some of your posts struck a chord 🙂
You seem to have disappeared from this blog. As Jon above commented, hope you’ve moved on to bigger/better things. But hope you can also come back just to say hi!
